„Expo Milano” – An app developed by Fornax for the Hungarian pavilion of the Milan Expo
The application Expo2015 developed by Fornax helps visitors find their way with maps, articles and lists of activities at the World Fair in Milan this year.
The main topics of this year’s World Fair with the motto „Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life” hosted by Italy from the 1st of May to the 31st of October are health, the environment and sustainable development. The Milan World Fair approaches the complex and global topic of sustenance from the aspects of environment, culture, medicine, technology, science and economy.
As Hungary can boast several outstanding achievements in all announced categories, both natural and technical, our country is represented by a pavilion of its own offering several exciting activities. In addition to the host of useful information and interesting events the Hungarian pavilion also presents an application developed by Fornax, the Expo2015, that helps the visitors finding their way.
Expo2015 runs on Android and iOS devices, and is available in English for all users wishing to know more about the details of the Hungarian exhibition. The application is free to download, the users can read articles related to the Hungarian pavilion, and can find out the details of the events held there. With the help of the application the selected event can be inserted into one’s personal calendar.
The application also has a map function showing all the pavilions of the World Fair, and route planning can be performed to any exhibitor. Expo2015 also connects to social media, therefore Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube, Instagram and Foursquare all contain interesting information about the topic, and there are numerous options for the visitors to share their opinion or personal experience with others.
