Up and Running
This year for the first time our company decided to participate in the K&H marathon and half marathon races organized by BSI for the 19th time.
The 19th K&H marathon and half marathon relay races took place on the 10th of Jun, 2012, in which Fornax ICT Kft. participated for the first time.
6800 people entered the race, which is the largest relay race event in Central and Eastern Europe. Starting from the House of Parliament, relay participants were able to run three different distances through the city centre of Budapest, while individual competitors had the chance to accomplish the half marathon.
Companies could enter in their own category, a very popular initiative among enterprises. Last year the number of participants doubled compared to the year before, with 500 teams running while representing a company, so quite naturally, we did not wish to be left out. Fornax ICT Kft. accomplished the 42,2 km marathon with a relay team of six individuals.
